is seeking a talented, hands-on Interior Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our Tampa-based design team. This role supports commercial projects from concept through completion and is ideal for someone who combines strong design sensibility with solid technical skills. The ideal candidate is proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit and comfortable developing design concepts, presentations, finish and FFE selections, and coordinated drawing packages. You will work closely with our Project Managers, Designers and Principals while taking ownership of assigned project deliverables and helping keep projects on schedule and within budget. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio. An interest in AI and emerging design technologies is also important as we continue to explore tools that improve creativity, communication and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support commercial interior design projects from concept through construction and installation Develop mood boards, presentations, finish selections, FFE packages and design concepts Produce coordinated drawing packages in both AutoCAD and Revit Develop plans, elevations, RCPs, finish plans, millwork details and furniture plans Complete redlines accurately and efficiently with limited supervision Support Project Managers with schedules, budgets, client presentations and project documentation Participate in client meetings, site visits, field verification, installations and project punch Coordinate with architectural, MEP, structural and other project consultants Review drawings and documentation for accuracy, coordination and consistency Research and specify furniture, finishes, materials and products Support procurement, vendor coordination and installations as needed Use AI and emerging design tools responsibly to improve design exploration and workflow efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field 3-5 years of professional commercial interior design or architecture experience Strong proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit is required Ability to develop coordinated drawing packages with limited supervision Proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape or similar rendering software Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Strong design sensibility and experience with presentations, finishes, FFE and technical detailing Working knowledge of ADA, life safety, building codes, construction processes and materials Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities Strong communicator who takes initiative, asks questions and follows through Interest and experience using AI and emerging design technologies Ability to travel locally to job sites and vendor locations and assist with installations as needed
Pay:
$62,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
