Utilize SketchUp, CAD software, and lighting design tools to create accurate layout designs and visual presentations that highlight product options and customization possibilities. Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, emphasizing quality craftsmanship, materials, and innovative solutions. Assist clients in selecting cabinetry styles, finishes, hardware, lighting fixtures, and accessories that align with their aesthetic goals and functional requirements. Develop detailed project proposals including measurements, layouts, pricing estimates, and timelines; negotiate terms to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Upsell complementary products such as lighting fixtures, hardware upgrades, or remodeling services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage inside sales activities using CRM systems and POS software; process transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Collaborate with the remodeling team to coordinate installation schedules, ensure quality control, and facilitate ongoing maintenance or follow-up services. Maintain organized stock levels of display samples, promotional materials, and product inventory; assist in merchandising efforts to enhance showroom appeal. Build strong customer relationships through personalized communication, follow-up support, and exceptional service throughout the remodeling process. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the renovation or construction industry is highly desirable. Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), CRM systems, POS systems, and lighting design tools is essential for success. Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining integrity are required. Background in remodeling projects or construction sales provides valuable insight into client needs and project workflows.
