Job Description

A progressive architecture, interior design, and graphics firm is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 7-10 years of experience and a strong aviation background . This is an opportunity to help shape and grow a collaborative studio while leading creative, highly detailed projects across aviation, hospitality, and public environments. You'll work with clients, airport stakeholders, operators, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to create spaces that balance design, brand, guest experience, and operational needs . Role and Responsibilities Lead planning, programming, and design for aviation, hospitality, and high-occupancy public spaces Develop passenger and guest experiences through space planning, wayfinding, and journey strategies Work with airport authorities, airlines, hospitality operators, and other stakeholders Design terminal, concourse, lounge, hotel, conference, and event spaces from concept through construction Develop and present concepts, renderings, material palettes, and presentations Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction administration Review submittals, shop drawings, mock-ups, and finish samples Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and business development Experience and Qualifications 7-10 years of professional architecture/interior design experience Aviation experience required Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design Experience with complex, high-occupancy public projects Strong understanding of space planning, accessibility, life safety, and public-space design Advanced Revit/BIM proficiency Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, or Lumion preferred NCIDQ, professional registration, or LEED/WELL/Fitwel credentials preferred What You'll Bring A strong design point of view balanced with practical, operational thinking Passion for aviation, hospitality, and guest experience Confidence working with complex stakeholder groups Collaborative leadership style and mentoring experience Creativity, curiosity, and a strategic approach to design
