This role combines innovative interior design expertise with proactive sales skills to deliver exceptional residential interior design projects. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, develop detailed design concepts, and manage projects from conception through completion. Your energetic approach will inspire clients and drive sales, ensuring each project exceeds expectations while maintaining budget and timeline goals. Duties Engage with clients to understand their interior design needs, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle Develop comprehensive design concepts using CAD software such as Closet Pro, Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max, including 3D modeling for architectural and interior visualization Create detailed construction documentation and drafting for renovation, remodeling, and new build projects, ensuring building code compliance and accurate construction detail documentation Prepare compelling CAD presentations and renderings using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design software to effectively communicate design ideas Manage multiple residential interior design projects simultaneously, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs adhere to local building regulations and safety standards Assist clients with lighting sales and lighting design solutions that enhance aesthetic appeal while meeting functional needs Oversee project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and managing client communications to foster strong relationships Qualifications Proven experience in interior design with a portfolio showcasing residential projects; familiarity with drafting, construction detail documentation, and building information modeling (BIM) tools such as Revit is essential Knowledge of lighting design principles along with experience in lighting sales is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of design and documentation Excellent client communication skills with a professional art or design background that demonstrates creativity and technical expertise Familiarity with building code analysis, remodeling processes, renovation project management, and construction detail documentation Experience using building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery is preferred Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through innovative design solutions while providing outstanding customer service.
