Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and talented Interior Residential Designer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will bring innovative design concepts to life, transforming residential spaces into personalized, functional, and inspiring environments. Your expertise in interior design principles, technical drafting, and project management will drive the successful execution of renovation and remodeling projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential projects, collaborate with clients and contractors, and showcase your creative vision through detailed renderings and presentations. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive interior design concepts for residential projects, including space planning, color schemes and material selections. Create detailed drawings, construction documentation, and specifications using ProKitchen software. Produce high-quality 3D models and renderings to visualize design ideas for client presentations and team reviews. Create detailed quotes and project proposals based on the designs. Manage multiple residential interior design projects from concept through construction completion, maintaining schedules and budgets. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, communicate design ideas effectively, and incorporate feedback into final plans. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution while ensuring quality standards are met. Candidate will be expected to stay current on design trends, materials and products while providing outstanding customer services throughout the process. Requirements 2+ years of proven experience in residential interior design with a strong portfolio demonstrating project diversity and creativity. Entry level candidates will be considered. Proficiency in CAD software such as Auto
CAD, 2020
design, ProKitchen, Chief Architect and other graphic design tools. Skilled in 3D modeling for architectural visualization and rendering using software like 3ds Max or similar tools. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with sales concepts, remodeling processes, budgeting practices, and renovation workflows is preferred. Ability to read construction drawings and measurements. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not required.
