Annual Intern Day for all American Structurepoint Interns from each Design Center Learn from qualified staff and build long-term relationships Ability to cross-train or shadow with other departments within our firm Professional development and mentorship Potential for Full-Time roles opportunities upon graduation Collaboration on high-profile real-life projects in your community Scholarship and networking opportunities Responsibilities Provide assistance to the project team as instructed by and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Interior Designer Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing REVIT Develops solutions to design and technical problems following established standards Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service with a focus on learning the profession of architecture Perform duties in a timely manner in order to maintain established commitments Other duties as assigned Qualifications Currently enrolled in a CIDA accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Completed at least two years of architectural education (Junior level standing) is preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and present ideas clearly Ability to manage multiple tasks, be curious, engaged with others and eager to learn Basic to intermediate proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Must provide a digital portfolio showcasing academic and/or professional work American Structurepoint is an equal employer opportunity and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
