Lead Kitchen Designer / Design Manager Position Overview Compass Kitchens is seeking a detail‑oriented, tech‑forward, and design‑minded Tech & Design Assistant to support our showroom's growing design team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and aesthetics—helping designers bring projects to life through accurate digital layouts, organized project documentation, and smooth behind‑the‑scenes coordination. You'll work closely with our Lead Kitchen Designer and Design Manager to ensure projects move efficiently from concept to completion, supporting both the creative and technical sides of the design process. Key Responsibilities 2020 Design Support — Assist with cabinet layouts, renderings, and order preparation using 2020 Design software. Project Documentation — Maintain organized files, specs, appliance details, finish selections, and revision notes. Technical Coordination — Help prepare cabinet orders, verify measurements, and support designers with tech‑related tasks. Showroom Support — Manage sample libraries, and assist with client presentations. Client & Vendor Communication — Assist with gathering specs, organizing quotes, and coordinating information between designers, reps, and fabricators. Qualifications Proficiency in 2020 Design Strong technical aptitude and comfort with digital tools Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Interest in kitchen & bath design, cabinetry, or residential interiors Ability to multitask and support multiple projects simultaneously Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset Why Join Compass Kitchens You'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a seamless client experience.
