Job Description
Kitchen and Bath Studios is a locally owned and successful business located in the Washington DC Metro area. Since 1993, Kitchen and Bath Studios has created beautiful projects in thousands of luxury homes throughout the Washington DC Metro area, selling custom and semi-custom kitchens to high-end clientele. Our team has proven professionals with several of their kitchens being featured in publications including Washingtonian Magazine, Home & Design, and Bethesda Magazine. We are highly recommended by the top architects, builders, and interior designers in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Designer to join our team in Chevy Chase, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your design experience with top-quality cabinetry lines. We are looking for someone that will work full-time from our updated Chevy Chase showroom with five custom and semi-custom cabinet lines.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen design preferences and needs and manage relationships to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Produce kitchen and bath layouts, including plans, elevations, and 3D renderings with design software
- Generate contracts, estimates, and proposals for both contractors and clients
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure seamless project execution, and oversee the installation and address any potential complications
- Generate new leads via walk-ins, telephone, in-person, or other methods of contact Qualifications include:
- 5+ Years in a Kitchen Design position
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members
- Ability to foster and develop long-lasting relationships
- Strong understanding of cabinetry materials, installation process, and construction
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Must have experience working with CAD including 20/20, Vectorworks, Chief Architect, Revit, or AutoCAD
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior design or other related fields is a plus
