Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop quotes, specifications, space plans, furniture layouts, design concepts, and presentations. Specify commercial furniture and interior products based on project requirements. Prepare product quotes, specifications, and bid responses. Produce drawings and supporting design documentation. Coordinate FF&E selections, specifications, finishes, and product details. Assist the sales team with product applications, pricing, and design solutions. Collaborate with sales representatives, manufacturers, dealerships, designers, and clients throughout the project process. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accurate and detailed documentation. Support the development of thoughtful and functional commercial interior solutions. Interpret architectural drawings and project documentation for design and specification purposes.

Qualifications and Certifications:

3 years of dealer experience required. Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in Project Spec, CET, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design and drafting software. Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination. Knowledge of commercial furniture and workplace planning standards preferred. Strong interior design and space-planning skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project documentation. Strong communication, organizational, and client-facing skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Experience with corporate office, higher education, healthcare, commercial furniture, or contract interiors is a plus.
