Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Custom Cabinet Designer, where your creativity and technical expertise will transform everyday spaces into stunning, functional kitchens, bathrooms and auxiliary spaces. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients, builders and interior designers to understand their vision, provide expert design advice, and create detailed kitchen layouts that blend aesthetics with practicality. Your passion for cabinet design and project management will drive customer satisfaction and inspire beautiful, high-end kitchen solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while making a tangible impact on clients' homes. Our facility will be expanding and relocating to Perry, MI in the Winter of 2027. Duties Meet with clients to measure and assess their needs, preferences, and budget for their cabinetry Develop detailed custom kitchen, bathroom, and other layouts using KCD or Mozaik design programs Present design concepts and pricing to clients, highlighting features such as cabinetry styles and options, hardware, molding, and countertops Project management by coordinating with cabinet makers, contractors, suppliers and interior designers to ensure seamless project execution from initial design, build and installation of cabinets and countertops Conduct final selection meeting and prepare projects to be built by our shop team Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions within text, email and phone calls Skills Proven experience in inside and outside sales and high-end sales environments with strong negotiation skills One year of experience in either 20/20, Pro Kitchen, KCD, or Mozaik. Sketch-up knowledge is a plus Proficient with basic math, fractions, and reading a tape measure Read and comprehend architectural plans and elevations Produce accurate, detailed site measurement drawings Knowledge of remodeling and construction processes and materials Ability to sell products through compelling presentations and understanding client needs Strong organizational and self-motivated skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for engaging clients confidently and clearly explaining design options, pricing and problem solving This role is perfect for energetic professionals eager to showcase their creativity while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
