Director of Charm Decor House About the Role We are seeking a talented, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to join our event rentals and design team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is excited to bring a client's vision to life through thoughtful planning and execution. The Assistant Designer will work closely with the Director and Principal Designer to support the day-to-day design process, client communication, event preparation, and studio operations. The right candidate is proactive, professional, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. What You'll Do Assist with preparing event rental quotes, design decks, and final contracts. Communicate with clients professionally and promptly throughout the design and rental process. Help maintain and organize the design studio, samples, materials, and rental inventory resources. Coordinate details between clients, designers, and internal team members. Assist with preparing orders and ensuring design details are accurate and complete. Help keep project information, client notes, and design files organized and up to date. Provide general support to the Director and Principal Designer as projects and priorities evolve. Jump in where needed to help ensure projects and events run smoothly from concept through execution. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred. 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in event design, interior design, hospitality, rentals, creative services, or a related industry. Experience working directly with clients in a professional setting. Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Professional, polished, and confident communication style. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Ability to pivot, re-prioritize, and problem-solve with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset. Strong visual and creative sensibility with an appreciation for design, color, texture, and presentation. Proficiency in Google Workspace A team-oriented attitude and willingness to take initiative. The Ideal Candidate You are someone who can move seamlessly between creative thinking and detailed execution. You enjoy making things beautiful, but you also understand that great design requires organization, communication, follow-through, and attention to the smallest details. You're comfortable taking direction while also anticipating what needs to happen next. You can confidently communicate with clients, stay calm when plans change, and keep projects moving forward in a busy event environment. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
