Interior Designer - Kitchens, Bathrooms & Residential Remodeling Fast-Growing Design-Build Company | Full-Time Position We are a fast-growing design-build remodeling company looking for a talented, organized, and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for a designer who can take a residential project from initial concept through complete product selections and prepare a clear, buildable design package for our construction team. What You'll Design Our projects include: Kitchens Bathrooms Family rooms and living spaces Primary suites Basements Additions and whole-home renovations Custom cabinetry and built-ins Key Responsibilities The designer will be responsible for: Meeting with clients to understand their vision, needs, lifestyle, and budget Developing design concepts and space-planning solutions Creating mood boards, material boards, and client presentations Producing floor plans, elevations, and design drawings Selecting and specifying cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, paint colors, appliances, and other finishes Creating detailed product specifications and selection schedules Sourcing products that meet the project's design, budget, lead-time, and construction requirements Coordinating selections with vendors, suppliers, project managers, and our construction team Tracking selections and ensuring products are approved and ordered on schedule Presenting design concepts and selections professionally to clients Making revisions based on client feedback Ensuring the final design is both aesthetically strong and practical to build What We're Looking For The ideal candidate must have: Experience in residential interior design, remodeling, or design-build Strong kitchen and bathroom design experience Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, and residential products Ability to properly specify products, not simply create attractive concepts Strong space-planning skills Experience creating mood boards and professional client presentations Ability to read and understand construction drawings and dimensions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent client communication and presentation skills A strong sense of design, proportion, color, and material coordination Experience with Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, Revit, or similar design software is a plus.
