Job Description
Duties:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints
- Create and present design concepts, including floor plans, color schemes, and furniture selections
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for construction and installation
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution
- Oversee the installation of design elements and provide on-site support as needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as Rhinoceros 3D or Sketchup
- Familiarity with lighting design principles and techniques
- Understanding of color theory and its application in interior design
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices
