Senior Kitchen Designer The Senior Kitchen Designer is responsible for managing kitchen design projects from initial consultation through final approval and installation coordination. This role combines advanced design expertise, cabinetry knowledge, client relationship management, and project leadership to create functional, attractive, and technically accurate kitchen designs. Key Responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their style, functional needs, budget, and project requirements. Develop professional kitchen layouts, floor plans, elevations, and realistic 3D renderings. Design cabinetry configurations while considering appliance specifications, plumbing, electrical, clearances, and building conditions. Recommend cabinetry styles, finishes, countertops, hardware, accessories, and related materials. Accurately measure spaces and verify site dimensions before cabinetry is ordered. Prepare detailed cabinet orders, specifications, pricing, and proposals. Review designs and orders carefully to minimize errors, omissions, and installation issues. Present designs to clients and make revisions based on feedback. Manage multiple kitchen projects simultaneously while maintaining project schedules. Coordinate with contractors, installers, architects, builders, vendors, and internal team members. Resolve design and field-related issues throughout the project. Maintain strong communication with clients from initial consultation through project completion. Mentor and provide design guidance to junior kitchen designers when needed. Stay current with cabinetry products, kitchen design trends, appliances, materials, and industry standards. Help drive sales by converting design consultations into completed cabinetry projects. Qualifications 5+ years of professional kitchen and cabinetry design experience. Strong knowledge of custom and semi-custom cabinetry construction and installation. Advanced understanding of kitchen space planning and design principles. Experience with kitchen design and 3D rendering software such as 2020 Design, ProKitchen, Chief Architect, AutoCAD, or similar programs . Ability to read architectural drawings, construction plans, and appliance specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent client presentation, communication, and sales skills. Ability to manage projects independently from concept through completion.
