Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Interior Design Procurement Specialist to support a high-end interior design team by managing the sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and financial tracking of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and design materials. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong procurement experience, deep knowledge of FF&E, and expertise in project coordination and financial documentation. Key Responsibilities Source furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), materials, and related design elements based on project specifications. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to align with project budgets and timelines. Coordinate deliveries, lead times, and the movement of components such as COM and COL to vendors, fabricators, and workrooms. Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement logs, and update project tracking systems. Track and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, payments, and client funds. Generate financial reports and maintain accurate records of procurement activities and expenditures. Ensure timely delivery of materials and products to meet project schedules. Serve as a liaison between the design team and accounting department to support accurate financial tracking and reporting. Utilize Studio Designer to manage purchasing, reporting, and project tracking activities. Skills & Experience Associate's degree in Interior Design, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or project coordination, preferably within interior design, architecture, or a related creative industry. Strong knowledge of FF&E sourcing, materials, finishes, and procurement processes. Expert-level proficiency in Studio Designer is required. Familiarity with shipping logistics, tariffs, and multi-state sales tax regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.
