Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong understanding of kitchen functionality and aesthetics. This role involves collaborating with clients to create innovative kitchen designs that meet their needs and preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints. The Kitchen Designer will utilize various design software to produce detailed plans and presentations, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to execution. Must be good with tech and have a glowing personaity. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for kitchen design. Create detailed kitchen layouts using design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit. Develop 3D renderings and visual presentations to effectively communicate design concepts. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all specifications are met. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary measurements. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the renovation or remodeling process. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies in kitchen design. Provide expert advice on lighting design, color theory, and material selection to enhance the overall aesthetic of the kitchen. Skills Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max, and Rhinoceros 3D. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and CAD applications. Knowledge of interior design principles as they relate to kitchen spaces. Familiarity with contracts related to construction and renovation projects. Experience in lighting sales and design is preferred. Strong budgeting skills to ensure projects remain financially viable. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Ability to think creatively while balancing functionality with aesthetic appeal.
