Outdoor Kustom Kitchens is hiring an Outdoor Kitchen Designer / Outdoor Living Expert to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon .We are looking for a motivated professional to create beautiful, functional outdoor living spaces. In this role, you will work directly at our office showroom located at 2079 NE Aloclek Dr, Suite 1013, Hillsboro, OR 97124 . This is an on-site position requiring daily reporting to this location. Position Overview As an Outdoor Kitchen Designer and Outdoor Living Expert, you will play a critical role in supporting our outside sales associates. You will transform conceptual ideas into exact 3D renderings and accurate project quotes. This role combines technical design skills, supplier coordination, and client-facing communication.

Pay & Schedule Hourly Rate:

$20.00 per hour.

Initial Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Part-Time start).

Growth Potential:

This position is structured to transition into a full-time role (40+ hours per week) as you master the responsibilities and integrate into our workflow.

Core Responsibilities Design & Rendering:

Convert initial concepts from sales associates into high-quality, presentation-ready designs using 2020 (Cyncly) design software.

Sales Support:

Assist outside sales associates by attending job site visits and participating in client meetings to capture precise project details.

Project Costing:

Learn and navigate multiple supplier ordering and operating systems to build accurate material quotes and project pricing.

Product Expertise:

Master our specialized outdoor product lines to confidently design, quote, and sell exterior cabinetry, motorized screening solutions, outdoor heating systems, and solid surface countertops.

Qualifications Software Experience:

At least 2 years of experience with 2020 Cabinet Design software is highly encouraged. Candidates without this specific experience must demonstrate an exceptional ability to learn complex design programs quickly.

Communication Skills:

Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with internal sales teams and external clients.

Detail-Oriented:

High level of accuracy when handling project dimensions, pricing structures, and supplier ordering specifications.

Reliability:
