Design Associate - Interior Design/ Sales Associate ✧ Our design associates strive to make a great "first impression" with clients looking to remodel their homes or build homes with industry-leading flooring and window treatment products. Often, individuals in this position are required to help clients make home design decisions based around a variety of design preferences and functional needs set forth by the client. We do not restrict any clothing choices for this position, but we do ask that design consultants always look professional and approachable while remaining comfortable and mobile in their choice of work attire; we offer a variety of branded work attire options as well, if desired. A reasonable level of computer literacy and strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as a large portion of our design associates' time is spent detailing client interactions. ✧

Responsibilities :

‣ Manage and nurture relationships with clients ‣ Educate clients about products available to order and in-stock at the ImPressive Floors Showroom / Warehouse ‣ Educate clients about current industry trends and developments ‣ Guide clients through their individual interior design process ‣ Communicate professionally with clients across a variety of channels, not just face to face ‣ Work in collaboration with coworkers throughout the company, through a variety of channels, who are responsible for varied duties and may not always be immediately available ‣ Maintain professional relationships with sales representatives and clients ‣ Comprehend basic sales training as well as company processes and procedures ‣ Aid clients in choosing products that fit their design preferences as well as their needs ✧

Job Requirements :

‣ Interest in / passion for interior design, home remodeling, home décor, etc. ‣ Strong written, social, and verbal skills ‣ Ability to adapt to technological advancements ‣ Ability to stay current with design trends as they develop and change within the industry through our continued education from manufacturers and other sources ‣ Superior organizational skills ‣ Ability to develop a fluent understanding of our industry vernacular ✧

Education :

‣ High School Diploma (required) ‣ Degree / Experience in Interior Design (preferred, but not required) ✧

Salary & Benefits :
