•We are looking for an FF&E focused interior designer. Please only apply if you have experience sourcing furniture, lighting, art + accessories. Porfolios without this process will not be considered.
•The Scale Collective is an internationally published boutique design firm focusing on high end residential and commercial interior design and, art consulting. Our work includes serene penthouses and seaside estates, whimsical commercial projects, and curated artful residences in California and Miami. Our projects are defined by a sense of place and purpose and a desire to enhance users everyday lives through exceptional design. Our aesthetic is timeless, modern and site-specific, unbound by project type or a singular style. We reference design elements from the art deco, seventies, French modernism and are inspired by various cultures in our world travels. We collaborate with the best architects, builders, artists and artisans to create beautiful, refined and sensory spaces that enhance people's lives for years to come. We are looking for an mid or senior level Interior Designer to join our team and work on residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have design experience on high-end residential projects where he/she was involved in all phases of the interior design process. The ideal candidate would be a gifted designer who is organized and able to vision and manage parts of a project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Working with design team to create and to prepare client presentations Sourcing of furniture, lighting and fabrics and finishes Pricing out of all selections, vendor correspondence, all sample requests and returns Updating and maintaining Furniture + IA plans in AutoCAD Assist with purchasing and invoicing for on behalf of project Creating, updating and Maintaining Elevations in CAD, including Rendered elevations Maintaining and managing project budgets and timelines and overall day to day project needs and expectations Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 4+ years' experience Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field is preferred Be able to showcase finished work in your portfolio and discuss what your role was Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sheets, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, Sketchup or Rhino, Programa (this is a plus but not mandatory) Passionate, self-motivated designer, able to take direction easily and collaborative mindset Ability to work in a team and manage yourself, your time and be well organized Drivers license and transportation required Salary/Benefits The Scale Collective offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Holiday pay, sick time and a week off between Christmas and New Years, and Health & Transportation reimbursements. Location This is a hybrid position located in Marin County, California. Candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred. Will consider remote for the right candidates.
