Interior Designer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Contract Furniture Designer to support a high-volume corporate account on the dealer side. This role involves furniture layout, specification, and order accuracy for private offices and support spaces. Candidates must possess contract furniture dealer experience, be proficient in CET and AutoCAD, and confidently work in a client-facing, fast-paced environment. This position requires initial on-site presence with hybrid flexibility after the ramp-up period. Responsibilities Design and plan furniture layouts for private offices and support spaces. Ensure accuracy in furniture specifications and orders. Work collaboratively with clients to understand and meet their design needs. Utilize CET and AutoCAD for design and planning purposes. Adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects. Essential Skills Proficiency in CET and AutoCAD. 5+ years of experience in contract furniture dealer roles. Experience in commercial office space planning. Strong client communication skills. Experience with design development and interior architecture. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with SketchUp, CET, or Project Spec 5. Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working directly with clients. Experience with furniture manufacturers or dealers is a plus, particularly with Haworth. Work Environment This role is set in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple concurrent initiatives. The team is highly collaborative, working closely across design, sales, project management, and installation functions. Designers are expected to be adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable shifting priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work within established timelines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
