Job Description:
Alder & Tweed is a fun and exciting team looking for a new member, who wants to work hard and have fun! We are located in the Hudson Valley where we help our clients design their dream vacation home. This position will work closely with our Senior Designer(s) to make sure all the project details are being delivered on time and correctly to meet our clients expectations. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assisting the Senior Designer(s) with multiple projects at one time. Overseeing all ordering and tracking - ensure accuracy of all pieces prior to delivery Assist with design development tasks as assigned (layouts, selections, revisions) Coordinate daily with design team to review status of all projects Collaborate and oversee purchasing department transactions Client meetings and note taking General understanding of construction documents and schedules Assisting with construction documentation Various errands - including jobsite visits and vendor meetings Coordinate and oversee home installations 40 hour minimum weekly requirement.
Qualifications:
AutoCAD Personal Vehicle and Cell Phone Self Starter Organized Detail Oriented Accountable Problem Solver Punctual Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills Team Mentality Great Attitude Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferably with a major in interior design or interior architecture.
