Job Description
Role Summary Neighbor Interiors is looking for a Senior Designer to lead design for new construction luxury custom homes, large-scale renovations, and furnishings projects. This is an experienced project leadership role. You'll develop the interior architecture, space plan, specify material selections, and oversee the entire design programming and execution process. We're building a firm where the best designers can grow into leadership rather than leaving to find it. What You'll Do Proactively lead the coordination of interior architecture, space planning, and material selections. Develop creative and innovative design solutions. Select and specify hard finishes, lighting, plumbing, appliances, hardware, and full FF&E. Guide clients through decisions, providing education and value around their investment. Direct the work of supporting design team members on your projects, and mentor them as they grow. Coordinate with architects and builders, walk sites at critical milestones, and resolve field questions. Help shape our studio standards and process as we grow to best serve our clients, our industry partners, and our team.
Qualifications and Requirements Education :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited interior design program.Experience :
Minimum 5 years in luxury residential interior design. Ground-up custom home experience required. Full furnishing experience required. Conceptual or commercial-only portfolios will not be reviewed.Software :
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Strong Microsoft skills for presentation work. Familiarity with Studio Designer and Asana preferred.Project Leadership :
A track record of running projects independently from kickoff through closeout, holding schedule and budget without needing to be managed.Client Leadership :
Confident presenting, guiding decisions, and collaborating on ideas.Site Presence :
Comfortable on active job sites with builders and trades, and able to represent our technical standards with clarity and warmth.Team Fit :

Schedule and Location Based in our Southlake studio, with work from home on Fridays. Regular travel to job sites.
