Designer Flooring, Kitchen & Bath Remodels

Job purpose The Designer is responsible for creating inspiring and functional design solutions for flooring, kitchen, and bath remodeling projects. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and project teams, guiding homeowners through material selections, space planning, and design presentations. The Designer ensures each remodel reflects the client's vision, meets budget and timeline expectations, and aligns with company's commitment to exceptional quality and service. Duties and responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their design goals, style preferences, and budget
• Develop creative design concepts for kitchen, bath, and flooring remodels
• Create mood boards, 2D/3D renderings, and floorplans as needed
• Draw floor plans and cabinets using Chief Architect, 20/20 and Bluebeam
• Present design proposals and product selections to clients
• Create PowerPoint presentations for final client selections and installer work orders
• Source and specify materials, including cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, hardware, fixtures, and paint
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, fulfillment manager, and installation teams to ensure design vision is executed accurately
• Stay current with design trends, new materials, and vendor offerings
• Maintain organized records of projects, selections, and change orders
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Backup for project orders in RFMS when fulfillment manager is out of office

Skills Proficiency in 2020 Design is required Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect and Bluebeam is highly desirable. Strong drafting skills with the ability to create accurate schematics for construction projects. Experience in interior design principles and practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality. A proactive approach to learning new techniques and staying updated on industry trends.

$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
