Overview Position:
Kitchen & Bathroom Designer Compensation:
$1,200 per week + 2% commission on completed jobs
Schedule:
Flexible hours; must be available to meet with clients based on their schedules Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and creative Kitchen & Bathroom Designer to work directly with clients throughout the remodeling process. The designer will visit clients' homes to take accurate measurements, understand their needs and preferences, develop design concepts, and help select materials and finishes for kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. Responsibilities Visit clients' homes to take accurate measurements and assess existing spaces. Meet with clients to understand their style, budget, needs, and remodeling goals. Create and present kitchen and bathroom design concepts. Assist clients with selecting cabinets, countertops, vanities, tile, flooring, fixtures, colors, and other materials. Help clients make design decisions that are both attractive and practical. Prepare measurements, layouts, material selections, and other information needed for remodeling projects. Coordinate with the sales, installation, and project teams to ensure the design matches the approved project. Communicate with clients throughout the design and remodeling process. Make revisions to designs based on client feedback. Maintain accurate project notes, measurements, and material selections. Attend client appointments as needed, including evenings or weekends. Represent the company professionally when meeting with clients in their homes. Qualifications Previous experience in kitchen, bathroom, interior, or remodeling design preferred. Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom layouts and remodeling materials. Ability to take accurate measurements and understand dimensions. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Creative eye for design, colors, materials, and space planning. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects. Professional appearance and demeanor when meeting with homeowners. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes. Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments. Compensation $1,200 per week 2% commission on completed jobs Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who is creative, organized, professional, dependable, and comfortable working directly with homeowners . Experience with remodeling, construction, cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, or interior design is a strong plus.
