Job Description

Job description: Our team is looking for a Junior Interior Designer who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow. This is an entry-level position and a fantastic growth opportunity for those with 1-3 years of previous design experience. You will work alongside our Principal on residential and commercial projects and play a major role in bringing creative, functional environments to life for clients. Responsibilities and Duties:
Build mood material boards and create design presentations. Draft accurate Revit drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans. Specify and source furnishings, fabrics, lighting, and materials from our trade vendors while keeping an eye on pricing and lead times. Coordinate with contractors and other vendors. Ensure compliance with safety and building codes. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies. Manage and resolve issues that arise during the project.
Qualifications and skills:
Experience with design software including Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience working on both residential and commercial projects. Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Interior Design. Strong project management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week with opportunity for future growth.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
