Job Summary Kitchen Designers work inside a retail showroom in a high-integrity, relational sales environment along with our appliance team. They also in the field, with customers in their homes. Designers need excellent time management skills. They balance energy between cultivating new sales opportunities while finishing designs and finalizing/closing contracts for existing clients. Compensation and Training Pay Kitchen Designers earn a base salary plus commissions. New Designers have supplemental pay that covers their initial training and ramp-up period while they develop a pipeline of sales. Details of the commission plan will be thoroughly explained during the interview process. In total, an experienced Kitchen Designer should earn $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
