Designer - Sales (Residential Flooring)

Macco's Floor Covering Center is looking to hire a Designer - Sales Professional. What we are looking for in a candidate is someone who is a motivated by sales and has knowledge of or is willing to learn the flooring industry. The Designer - Sales Professional role requires interacting, assisting, and determining customers' individual needs by recommending design ideas and products that will meet customer preferences, purpose, function, and budget.

• Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality.
• Time management skills to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Must have open and flexible work availability to include Saturdays.
• Creative talent and an eye for design.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other business software applications.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in interior design preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years sales and customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of the flooring industry preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work will be conducted in a retail store environment.

Five-day work week. Monday through Friday with alternating Saturday hours.
