Are you a driven, dedicated Interior Designer passionate about interior design who enjoys putting their creativity to work for the customers and exceeds customer's expectations? We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to undertake a variety of residential projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements for project Determine the client's goals and requirements for the project Undertake design project from concept to completion Give preliminary estimates, costs and drawings on projects Prepare detailed project specifications Prepare scaled drawings, using computer software Prepare contract for project Prepare final drawings, pricing, bidding and selections Research and decide on materials and product sourcing Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements Visit worksites to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans Visit the site after the project is complete, to ensure that the client is satisfied Requirements Degree in Interior Design 5+ years of proven working experience in designing residential projects Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and all installations Hands on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect and/or similar design software Excellent portfolio of previous works Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously. Organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, fast pace team player Strong communication and presentation skills Strong customer service skills Strong technical and practical CAD skills with an understanding of architectural conventions, including floor plans, sections, millwork, mechanicals and furnishings
