Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic Hardware store environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by assisting them with their needs, promoting products, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations. Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and arranging displays. Utilize retail math to manage inventory levels effectively and assist in stock management. Requirements Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with design software preferred but not mandatory Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic understanding of cash handling procedures and retail math principles. Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
