, Alabama. This is a contract-based position for individuals who are fluent in both languages and capable of providing interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical appointments, phone calls, and occasional legal assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate Haitian Creole-English interpretation for medical appointments (in-person) Assist with over-the-phone interpretation when needed Support occasional legal or administrative interpretation services Ensure clear and culturally appropriate communication between parties Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

Must currently reside in

, Alabama or near by 15 minutes by car. (mandatory) Fluency in both Haitian Creole and English (spoken and written) Prior experience as an interpreter or certification in interpretation (preferred) Ability to travel independently to appointment locations Availability to travel to nearby cities within a maximum radius of 1 hour 30 minutes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
