Qualifications:
Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) with proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter Previous experience providing sign language interpretation in school-based or educational settings preferred Current and valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or relevant credentials) Strong communication and teamwork abilities Must be adaptable and eager to work in diverse educational settings
Duties:
Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and school personnel Interpret classroom instruction, activities, and school events Support student participation in both academic and extracurricular activities Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance the learning environment Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and ethics
