Qualifications & Required Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a sign language interpreter, preferably in educational environments Ability to interpret for students and staff in a school setting Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Certification as appropriate for interpreters (EIPA, RID, or equivalent preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation services in classrooms and school events Facilitate communication between students, staff, and families Collaborate with educational teams to support student success Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
