Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

State Interpreter License in ASL required; Spanish interpretation abilities and MSL proficiency are a strong plus. Experience providing sign language interpreting services in K-12 school environments. Ability to facilitate clear communication between students, staff, and peers in a variety of classroom and school settings. Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 interpreting services to a middle school student, ensuring complete access to classroom instruction and school activities. Accurately interpret classroom lectures, assignments, discussions, and announcements. Adapt interpreting style and approach to meet the students needs in varied educational environments. Maintain confidentiality and respect for student privacy at all times. Work closely with teachers and educational staff to promote an inclusive and accessible learning experience.

Details & Work Schedule:

Full-time (approximately 37.5 hours per week), onsite presence is preferred. Immediate start, with contract extending until late May. Support required throughout the school day, ensuring all-day coverage.
