Medical Interpreter - Bilingual in
Vietnamese Location:
El Monte, CA (East Los Angeles)

Day Shift Pay:
$21.00-$22.00/hour About the
Role:
Serve as the key communication bridge between providers and Vietnamese-speaking patients. Interpret during medical visits and health appointments with professionalism and warmth. Support intake, financial screenings, and health history interviews for patients with limited English. Translate outreach materials, patient handouts, and clinic documents accurately and clearly. Make appointment reminder calls, return voicemails, and follow up on no-shows or lab results. Assist during group classes and patient education sessions as an interpreter or support staff. Coordinate with front office, medical, and referral staff to support efficient patient flow. Document patient interactions and updates in the clinic's EHR system.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year interpretation or translation experience. Fluency in both Vietnamese and English (reading, writing, and speaking). Experience working or volunteering in Vietnamese communities preferred. Professional, reliable, and culturally sensitive communication style. Nice to
