Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of a teacher site administrator and or district administration, provides communication facilitation between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and others in the general education classroom and for other school related activities, including extracurricular activities, as designated in a student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Provide expressive and voice interpreting for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in general education classes (this may include American Sign Language, Manually Coded English, Pidgin Signed English and/or Oral Interpreting).The individual participates in meetings requiring interpretation and performs other related duties as assigned.
