Qualifications:
Certification, licensure, or credentials in Sign Language Interpretation as required by state guidelines Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Experience working in school settings or with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students preferred Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
Provide in-classroom and individual interpretation services for DHH students Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers Adapt interpreting to both elementary and high school classroom environments Support students academic and social development through clear interpretation and advocacy
