In this role, you'll collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide invaluable assistance to 5th and 6th grade students, ensuring they have access to everything they need for a successful school experience.

Your schedule is set:

enjoy guaranteed shifts five days a week from 8:00am to 2:30pm for the first 4-6 weeks, after which the position transitions to a full-time assignment. Immediate availability is essential, as this position is an emergency backfill with an ASAP start date.

What youll need:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter and/or Paraprofessional in school settings Strong communication skills and patience in supporting students with diverse learning needs Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for elementary and middle school students Your contributions will include: Interpreting classroom instruction and school activities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Collaborating with teachers to adapt instructional materials and reinforce learning objectives Providing individualized or small-group support during classwork and activities Assisting with transitions between classes and throughout the school day Promoting effective communication and inclusion for students on your caseload This is an exciting chance to make a positive difference every day in students lives.
