Key qualifications:

Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf, or Achieved a score of 4.0 or above on the EIPA, ESSE-I/R, or the

NAD/ACCI

assessment Strong candidates with EIPA scores under 4.0 (will be considered as ASL Para) Ability to provide both sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpretation Experience supporting students in academic areas (reading, writing, math) Commitment to working onsite with flexibility across middle and high school environments Clear communication with students, teachers, and school staff Professionalism and reliability are essential Primary responsibilities: Facilitate communication and learning between deaf/hard of hearing students and hearing peers Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school events Assist students with coursework and reinforce learning in various settings Provide support during classroom, outdoor, or community activities Collaborate with school staff to ensure optimal learning outcomes Adapt to the unique needs of each student and learning environment This assignment offers the chance to help shape students educational journeys while building strong connections within a supportive educational community. Work approximately 30 hours per week, with consistent onsite hours aligned to the school calendar.
