On-site interpretation Job Description We are seeking a qualified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for an on-site assignment supporting an employee at a retail location in San Francisco. The interpreter will provide professional ASL interpretation during the employee's workday at a Genius Bar/retail environment . The assignment involves frequent standing and may include technical and customer-service-related terminology. Assignment Dates & Hours The selected interpreter must be available for the following dates: October 7: 10:30 AM- 7:30 PM October 8: 10:30 AM
- 7:30 PM October 9: 12:00 PM
- 9:00 PM October 13: 11:00 AM
- 8:00 PM October 15: 10:30 AM

3251 20th Avenue San Francisco, CA 94132 Responsibilities Provide accurate and professional ASL interpretation. Facilitate clear communication between the employee and hearing individuals. Maintain confidentiality and professional standards. Interpret in a retail and technology-focused environment. Be comfortable with extended periods of standing and an active workplace setting. Arrive on time and be prepared for each scheduled assignment. Requirements Professional proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) . Previous professional interpreting experience. Experience in on-site/community interpreting preferred. Comfortable interpreting in a retail, workplace, or technical environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
