Bilingual Community Liaison (BCL)

Location:

Wright Elementary School (WES)

Wage:

$26.28 per hour for entry level, up to maximum of $36.28 per hour for 15 or more years of verified comparable BCL experience.

Dates:

180 student days + 1 professional development day each year. 7 paid hours and ½ hour unpaid lunch per day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Description:

Under supervision, works closely with teachers, administrator, parents, and parent Advisory Committee to deliver direct translation and interpretation services and to provide support, information and resources to parents and implement parent involvement activities.

Required:

Requirements include: Fluent English/Spanish Bilingual/Biliterate - Requires District Assessment H.S. diploma and AA degree or higher (48 college units), or •proficiency certificate •available by Math and English assessment through HR Valid CA driver's license Onboarding Requirements, including
