Minimum Qualifications

MUST BE A FLUENT SPANISH SPEAKER

Successful completion of a medical interpreter competency assessment (to be administered by UCHealth) Completion of 40-hour medical interpreter training program (example: "Bridging the Gap") Minimum of 2 years of medical interpretation experience Preferred Qualifications Prior Video Remote Interpretation experience Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) or Certified Healthcare Interpreter (CHI) credential Skills & Competencies Strong bilingual communication skills and fluency in medical terminology Proficiency in basic computer and technology use Ability to exercise critical thinking and sound judgment in fast-paced environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Commitment to equity, cultural sensitivity, and patient advocacy

Pay:

$32.00 per hour Application Question(s): Minimum of 2 years of Spanish medical interpretation experience
