Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We are a growing organization supporting critical national security missions through expertise in language and culture, training and education, information technology, cybersecurity, and intelligence operations. We are seeking highly skilled Spanish Linguist to provide mission-critical language support to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community operations. This role supports real-world intelligence missions through advanced interpretation, translation, transcription, and analysis of foreign-language materials, enabling informed operational decision-making in fast-paced, classified environments.
Essential Job Functions:
The Spanish Linguist will: Support CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT operations through the translation, interpretation, transcription, and exploitation of foreign-language materials. Deliver accurate, timely, and reliable translation and transcription of intelligence-related documents, audio, and video. Provide simultaneous interpretation during operational engagements, meetings, conferences, and briefings. Provide consecutive interpretation during interviews, debriefings, interrogations, meetings, and operational discussions. Translate a broad range of materials, including: Legal documents Military and technical manuals Intelligence reporting Scientific and technical publications Political speeches and policy documents Official government correspondence Training materials Presentations and briefings Summarize foreign-language documents and media to support intelligence reporting and operational requirements. Review and edit translated products to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Government quality standards. Conduct bilingual text comparisons to verify the accuracy and fidelity of translated materials. Extract and identify actionable intelligence from foreign-language source materials to support operational and analytical missions. Maintain the highest standards of linguistic accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while operating in classified environments. Collaborate with intelligence analysts and operational personnel to support mission planning and execution.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Active Secret security clearance. Spanish language proficiency of ILR 4+/4+ or higher. English language proficiency of ILR 3+/3+ or higher. Experience supporting Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), or related intelligence operations. Experience with one or more intelligence exploitation disciplines, including: Media Exploitation (MEDEX) Cellular Exploitation (CELLEX) Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) Similar intelligence exploitation activities Demonstrated ability to provide accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation services in operational or classified environments. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify, assess, and communicate relevant intelligence information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or federal law enforcement organizations. Operational or deployed intelligence experience. Familiarity with intelligence reporting standards, exploitation workflows, and intelligence production processes. Experience supporting real-world intelligence operations in high-tempo environments. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
