As a contract Sign Language Interpreter, you will work onsiteno virtual assignmentsserving a single campus with either elementary, middle, or high school students, depending on your placement. Immediate start dates are available, extending through late May, and youll enjoy a steady, full-time schedule of up to 37.5 hours each week.

Key Qualifications:

3.0 EIPA score (or higher) required Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings preferred Ability to engage with students in both 1:1 and group settings Completion of fingerprinting required for credentialing (status verified if previously fingerprinted in FL and available through the AHCA Clearinghouse) Commitment to onsite work; remote or VOCO roles are not offered

Primary Responsibilities:

Interpret instructional activities, student and staff interactions, and school events for DHH students across assigned age groups Foster clear, accessible communication between students, educators, and peers in mainstream classroom settings Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to tailor communication strategies to individual student needs Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Support student integration and participation in both academic and extracurricular activities
