Key Qualifications:

EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (documentation required) Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment Experience interpreting in school-based environments is highly preferred Ability to effectively interpret in a variety of classroom and educational settings Additional licensure or credentials may be required (to be confirmed) Reliable and professional approach to supporting both students and staff

What Youll Do:

Interpret spoken language and signed communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and staff, teachers, and peers Facilitate full access to classroom instruction, activities, and social interactions Maintain confidentiality and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Collaborate with instructional staff to support accommodations and student success Adapt communication methods to student needs and classroom contexts
