Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by facilitating communication and inclusion for students in an educational setting as a Sign Language Interpreter. This contract opportunity runs through May 2027 and requires on-site commitment, where your skills will directly influence students access to instruction and school participation.
Key Qualifications:
EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (documentation required) Proven experience in educational or school-based interpreting Full-time on-site availability throughout the academic year Reliable transportation for a consistent on-site presence Completion of all required licensure and credentials (to be verified prior to placement)
Responsibilities:
Interpret classroom instruction and all educational activities to ensure full access for deaf and hard-of-hearing students Serve as a communication bridge among students, teachers, staff, and peers Support both academic and social aspects of the students day-to-day experience Uphold professional standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and impartiality Collaborate with school staff to adapt to classroom needs and student support plans Why Consider This Role?
