Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Sign Language Interpreter supporting a high school student throughout the academic day. This full-time contract role runs from the present until late May 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You'll work on-site, providing direct interpreting services to facilitate the student's access to lessons, school activities, and peer interactions. What we're seeking: Active Georgia Educational Interpreter or GaPSC Certification RID Certification or an EIPA score of 3.5 or above Experience interpreting in educational settings, especially for high school students Proven ability to work one-on-one to support individualized communication needs Availability to commit to a full-time, on-site schedule Responsibilities include: Delivering accurate and effective sign language interpreting for all classroom instruction, school functions, and daily communications for one high school student Collaborating with educators and school staff to support the student's social, academic, and extracurricular engagement Adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards in an educational environment Adjusting interpreting methods to suit the student's needs and learning style Maintaining professional communication with school personnel and administration This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a student's educational journey in a highly collaborative and supportive setting.
