Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students by utilizing your sign language expertise in this onsite interpreter role. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available in a supportive educational environment, with assignments running through May 21st, 2027. Youll collaborate directly with school leadership to match your preferences and experience to the most suitable age groups and settings.
Key Qualifications:
Current Georgia Educator Certification for Sign Language Interpreters with an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher Alternatively, SLI Paraeducators with strong EIPA scores and a commitment to retaking the EIPA (the district may hire as SLI tech with transition potential) Ability to document services accurately in daily logs Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills Experience in school or educational environments preferred
Primary Duties:
Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation for students and staff in classroom and school-based settings Facilitate communication for deaf or hard-of-hearing students during instruction, activities, and meetings Work with the district to determine the optimal student caseload and age group placement, leveraging your skills and interests Participate in pre- and post-planning days as needed Maintain timely, accurate records of services provided, as required by district policy This contract position offers a stable schedule (at least 37.5 hours per week for full-time; part-time hours may be discussed) with a strong focus on professional matching and growth.
