Qualifications:
Active GA Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters with an EIPA score of 3.5+ OR, SLI Para with recent EIPA scores (intent to re-test) for potential tech-to-interpreter pathway Experience interpreting in an educational setting preferred Comfortable completing daily service logs Ability to interact and collaborate with staff to determine best placement (grade/age level)
Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation for students across varying grade levels Support educational access and communication in classroom and school activities Collaborate with district staff to tailor placement based on your expertise and preference Maintain accurate documentation of daily interpreting services
