Qualifications:

Minimum EIPA score of 3.0 or higher. Active PEL (Professional Educator License) or pending application to interpret in school settings. Proficiency in American Sign Language and strong communication abilities. Previous experience supporting students in mainstream classrooms is preferred. Professionalism, patience, and a commitment to student inclusion.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation services for a designated elementary student within mainstream classroom settings. Facilitate clear and effective communication between the student, teachers, and peers. Support the students access to curriculum, classroom activities, and school events. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement best practices for accessible learning. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards within the educational environment.
