Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clear and accurate sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events. Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion for students with hearing impairments. Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies tailored to individual student needs. Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated interpretation skills. Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings is preferred. Ability to work full time across the current and next school years. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families. Relevant certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter is an advantage.
